Acacia saligna (Blueleaf Wattle, Golden Wreath Wattle)

This fast-growing tree is ideal for arid climates where many others will not grow. The plant has golden flowers in the spring. It is native to southwestern Australia When mature it develops a spreading canopy In spring it is covered with fragrant golden flowers that attract many bees. Full sun is a must for this tree. It takes well to pruning. Watch out for suckers what the tree will grow after heavy pruning.  Like most Acacia this tree fixes atmospheric nitrogen into the soil.
