Aloe arborescens (Candelabra Aloe, Tree Aloe)
The Candelabra aloe is a succulent from southern Africa. It has long, greyish green leaves with spiked edges. In winter or spring, red flowers on stalks emerge. It is resistant to both drought and heat but may struggle with too much sun. Its flowers attract sunbirds.
