Acer palmatum 'Sango Kaku' (coral-bark maple)
Japanese maple is a middle size, low branching deciduous tree with outstanding leaf color in fall.The leaves are deeply lobbed with many attractice color such as yellow, orange, red, purple. In mid spring smsll cluser of flowers appear followed by rge winged fruit. Japanese maple is excellent in any garden with any size even as a pation plant in pots.Sango-kaku' is a large deciduous shrub or small tree with coral-red young branches .Leaves when open are pinkish-yellow,later becoming green in summer and yellow in autumn.
