Eriobotrya japonica `Coppertone' ('Coppertone' Loquat)

A broad spreading tree known for its sweet yellow fleshy edible fruit, also it has reddish new leaves before they mature to become glossy dark green and felted from the bottom size. Needs protection from wind because of heavily fruited drooping branches. It works well in hedges orchards or mixed borders.
