Tagetes erecta (Mexican marigold)
African marigold is a bushy annual with large yellow or orange flower head. It grows best in the sun and can take some heat and periods of drought. These common bedding plants look great in beds and containers. They use this plants inter cropping with vegetables or fruit trees as the marigold roots emit a substance that deters root-damaging nematodes.
