Tilia americana (Americal linden)
American basswood has a heart shape leaf are dark green which will turn yellow at fall. Young trees has pyramidal shape but with age its changing into an oval canopy. Early summer when the tree is producing a very fragrant flower and it's attracting bees which will produce special linden honey. The tree when its becoming large will need plenty of place to grow. Needs heavy pruning to develop stronger branches otherwise it will be suspected to breakage. Usually it is used as shade tree or park tree.
