Macadamia integrifolia (macadamia nut)

Macadamia nut is a large broadleaf evergreen tree originated from Australia and used for its delicious soft nuts. Leaves are long, flowers have a sweet fragrant. Two species of macadamia nuts are commercially grown today: M. integrifolia (smooth-shell type) and M. teteraphylla (rough-shell type).Ornamentally grown as shade trees with attractive spring flowers.
