Arbutus marina (Marina Strawberry Tree)

The parents of this  ornamental tree are coming from Mediterranean regions. It is a cross between Arbutus unedo and A. andrachne. The tree has a  beautiful cinnamon-colored bark that sheds periodically. it has a spring and a second blooming in fall. Grow hybrid strawberry tree in full sun and very well-drained, somewhat dry soil with average to poor fertility
