Castanospermum australe (Lucky bean, Moreton Bay chestnut)
Lucky brown tree is a tropical, evergreen tree with an erect trunk, grey to brown smooth bark, and glossy dark green leaves. The flowers are pea-shaped, form in clusters, are yellow to orange in color and are an important source of nectar and pollen for bees. The wood is durable, hard, and heavy and is used as a material for construction. The seeds are edible but must be first sliced and washed in water for several days before cooking. The seeds cause severe gastrointestinal disturbance
