Crinum asiaticum (Crinum Lily, Tree Crinu,Poison Bulb )
Crinum lily is an evergreen, large, perennial, bulbous, rosette-like herb. It as numerous, flat, strap-like oblong, acute leaves that are up to 2 m long and clasp at the base. The flowers bloom almost all year round with small resting periods. The inflorescence is an umbel that normally contains from 20 to 30 flowers. The flower is radically symmetrical with six pure white, or striped with claret-red or tinted with rose-purple petals. The flowers are pleasantly fragrance, especially during the night and morning hours. The scape starts weakening as the fruit begins to form. But fruit never come to maturity.
The young inner leaves are crushed and the juice squeezed out and poured in the ear in cases of earache
