Eucalyptus camaldulensis (River Red Gum)
Massive tree with a weeping habit. The leaves are evergreen bluish- greening in color with a nice spicy fragrant. The flowers are creamy white, small follow by a pea like capsule. The attractive trunk of the tree is exfoliating and becoming mottled, multi colored. It needs full sun and a drought resistant. The tree is too massive for residential use and too aggressive for urban condition. If planted as street tree it breaks easily the side walk. It is very messy after dropping the flowers and fruits.
