Erythrina crista-galli (Cockspur Coral Tree, Coral Tree,)
Coral tree or cockspur is a spiny tree with trifoliate leaves.Watch out for the spines. It typically grows 5-7 m in height with a roundish canopy. The flower is deep red appear early spring. The tree is the official tree of Los Angeles.
