Lobularia maritima (Sweet Alyssum, Seaside Lobularia 'Oriental Nights')

Lobularia maritima can be both perennial or annual, but is mostly cultivated as annual. It has fine, linear leaves of light green color. It's white flower has four small petals, and are sweet-scented. 

Sweet alyssum is a coastal plant that tolerates drought and salty winds of the sea. It grows in full or partial sun, requires average watering, and mostly do well in sand or loam.

Used usually in containers and beddings, or in rock garden and near pathways.
