Tradescantia spathacea (Moses-in-the-cradle, Boatlily, Cradle Lily)

Cradle Lily has a spreading clumps of green and burgundy-purple leaves all year around. Small white flowers appear in the base of the leaves. used as a house plant or a ground cover in landscaping. A tough and adaptable plant for partial sun or shade. If a mild frost hits it it will reappear in the spring. In subtropical regions can act as invasive.
