Dalbergia sissoo (Indian rosewood, Bombay blackwood)
Fast growing Indian rosewood is a semi evergreen or deciduous tree from India where its planted for its timber. The leaves are arranged as feathers. In the spring fragrant white or pale pink flowers covering the tree followed by a long pod . It requires full sun, can withstand drought and urban condition.
