Eucalyptus globulus (Tasmanian Blue Gum)
This large Blue gum tree is originated from Australia and Tasmania. As mature height it can reach 60-70 m. Used for its essential oil which is extracted from its leaves. Use in landscape with a special care as it can act invasive. The species has also been planted in swampy areas in Algeria, Lebanon, Italy and California with the purpose of drying the soil.The flower is attracting bees. It is famous for it Eucalyptus honey in Lebanon.
