Plant Profile

Pentas lanceolata (Egyptian Starcluster, Pentas, Starflower)

Pentas is an evergreen perennial shrub that has a dark green folliage and rounded clusters of flowers that vary in color; They can be pink, lavender, purple, white or red. The flowers grows almost all year long, and they usually attract polinators before any other plant in the garden.

They grow in well drained, fertilized soil, in full to partly sunny areas, and are drought and heat tolerant once established.
