Annona cherimola (Cherimoya, Custard Apple)
The tree is erect but low branched and looks shrubby or spreading reaching a maximum of 6-8 m. The leaves are briefly deciduous just before spring flowering the tree drops the leaves. The flowers are fragrant and small and for good fruiting needs hand pollination. The fruit is green outside and white with a black seeds inside. The pulp is very sweet. The tree is commonly grown in the tropical areas. Needs irrigation regularly and can not withstand any frost.
