Aesculus pavia (red buckeye, red horse chestnut)
Aesculus pavia is a deciduous bushy tree or large shrub with red tubular flowers in spring early summer and dark shiny leaves and a smooth branch. Its flowers attract hummingbirds but it has no significant foliage color in fall. It can be propagated from seeds but its seeds are poisonous and avoided by most wildlife
