Cereus peruvianus (Peruvian Apple Cactus)

Cereus peruvianus is an upright/columnar succulent perennial that grows in the wild and in containers. It is highly drought tolerant and full of long spines. It has large white flowers that grow up to 15 cm. The flowers bloom only at night and during summer. Flowers are followed by edible fruits.
