Acacia retinoides is a tree with thin willow-like leaves and dense sprays of fragrant, yellow flowers mainly in spring but can come year around. The tree is fast growing and can reach 6-10 m. The plant can tolerate drought and some salt. It shows some invasive potential due to self seesing.
