Firmiana simplex (Chinese Parasoltree)
Chinese parasol is a lovely tropical looking tree with green smooth trunk and large deciduous leaves. This fast growing tree is originated from Southeast Asia. The leaves are dark green with 3-7 lobed leaves. In the summertime creamy small flowers appear on the tip of the branches. The tree should be planted on full sun, fertile well moist soil. Protect the tree from cold, dry winds. It makes a good shade tree or street tree. In mild climate the tree can spread invasive from its seeds.
