Duranta repens (Golden Dewdrop, Sky-Flower, Pigeonberry)
Syn: Duranta erecta Skyflower is a vigorous fast growing evergreen shrub reaching 3-5 m in height and with an overall weeping shape when mature.. The full clusters of fragrant, pale blue flowers attract butterflies in summer and are followed by golden-orange berries, popular with birds. Flowers and fruit are often found on the plant simultaneously and make an attractive show. The plant has thorn and the yellow berries are poisons if indigested. This shrub does best in well-drained average soil and full to partial sun. Plant golden dewdrop singly as a specimen plant or massed as a screen.
